Airport

Sitting at the airport about to embark on this crazy adventure. Everythings starting to fully hit me. As many people have told me this is a bold thing to do. The question I have is whether I am a bold enough person to be the one doing this. Either way this is who is doing it and were stuck with that. Yes I am definitely excited. I mean when else in your life do you get to fly across the world with no plans or expectations to anybody else. No places to be, nobody to feel obligated to, and nothing to live up to. Just you, your backpack, and the world at your feet.
The sign we saw on the way to the airport gives me the reassurance and sign from god that this is in fact exactly what I should be doing. (Its even in blue type, which I am starting to realize everything I brought is blue... a little wierd and disturbing to figure out)

Continuing this blog in the T.G.I. Fridays in the Dallas airport. It would totally be something I would do to go to the most familiar place in the airport right next to my terminal. The waitress got happy though when she knew I worked here and we had an in depth fridays conversation, as well as suggesting menu items to the guy next to me. I don't know if I'll be able to escape that place. My ear is killing me right now and I can hardly hear anybody but I have my boarding pass in my hand and I'm just 13 hours from London. It feels amazing. The realization of what I'm about to head off and do is starting to hit me. Hopefully I have the brass steel balls that guy claimed I had. The texan style is definitely a switch, overhearing "well hot diggity" just makes me giggle. I can't wait to get the culture shock of the London style.

  1. Hahahaha I definitely giggled more than once during this post. "hot diggity!" Really?!:D I'm super excited for you, I love reading your blog, and I think that message you saw on that board is awesome. Keep the good times rolling, though I miss you already knowing you're so far away. <3 London's never gonna know what hit it :)
